WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Contact time focuses on practice, inquiry and discussion as learning tools. Information shared is, ss much as possible, tailored to meet the interests and needs of each individual group.
Through presentation, discussion and experience you will learn about:
An introduction to trauma, what it is and how it affects the body and brain.
Simple ways to adapt sharing Nidra to make it more trauma sensitive; language, permissions and invitations, choice, positions for practice and adjustments to positions.
How you can adapt the structural elements of Nidra to incorporate a trauma sensitive approach.
Ways to support people with reactions to practice.

FEEL - HOW WE LEARN TOGETHER
The hours we spend together learning online are offered in the spirit of curiosity, inquiry and collaboration. This is not a top down learning. Your learning will be enriched through sharing your experiences, questions, skills and insights as a group and through experiential practice.
CERTIFICATION
You will receive a certificate in acknowledgement of your hours spent studying.

Committing to the course is really important to make sure you get as much out of it as possible. Please make sure the/ all meeting dates and times work for you before you book.
All payments are non refundable. As a small business I am not in the position to refund monies once they have been taken. If your life circumstances change and you can’t make the course you are welcome to roll the booking to a future date, or sell it on privately to someone.
I reserve the right to cancel the training if needed. If so, you will be refunded in full or you can roll your payment to a future course.

Helen has been working as a yoga therapist in mental health settings since 2021 when she qualified with the Minded Institute. She has specialist training in PTS and trauma and is training as a counsellor.
